Free Influenza Vaccinations

The 2024 flu programme has begun and Pito Hauora are offering free vaccinations for eligible whānau.

If you meet the criteria listed you can visit Pito Hauora at 210 Richmond Street, Thames, or call 07 862 9626 to book your appointment.

You are eligible for a free flu vaccination if you are:

  • Hapū (pregnant)
  • Have existing long-term conditions (asthma, diabetes, or cardiovascular disease)
  • A Community Services Card holder
  • Māori and Pasifika (from six months old)
  • A front-line healthcare worker
  • Aged 65 and over

Covid-19 vaccines are available and can be given at the same time as your flu vaccine.
